EPIC OF ICE DRAGON: REBORN AS AN ICE DRAGON WITH A SYSTEM
Chapter 2005 The Will Of Muspelheim—–
“The children of the flames, despite how long has it been, never left.”
And then she heard the gentle voice of a woman.
It sounded almost motherly.
“Huh? W-Who’s… there?”
Amehia looked around, confused.
Until suddenly, a gigantic figure emerged from the sea of boiling lava.
SPLAAASH!
It took a slightly humanoid shape, resembling the silhouette of a fire titan woman, with long fiery hair made of flames lava and volcanic stone, covered with a dress made of crystals and divine ores.
Her bright eyes shone like the sun, and her existence was close to divine…
Amehia was left without words, glancing at the entity with awe. Despite her overwhelming presence, this entity was someone she… knew.
“We meet face to face, my dear Druid.”
“E-Eh?! Wait… Huh?! You’re…! Are you…?! Muspelheim’s… Will?!”
“I have been dormant for millions of years, but with the death of the Savage Sun Flare Demonic Venerable, I’ve been freed from his control… And yes, I am the Will of this continent. Or well, of the Realm of Muspelheim, when it was an enormous world, even larger than what it is now, a planet of its own.”
“A-A planet?”
“Every Realm born from Mother Yggdrasil was alive, we are her fruits. And as a result, we possess Souls and Spirits of our own. Most of us, however, laid dormant, we protected and fueled the Realms with Life and Energy, it could be said that all of us, Realms, were also her seeds, with the potential to become trees like her, and create even more worlds.”
“W-Woah…”
“This might come as quite shocking to you, my dear Druid… Mother once told me that our purpose was to propagate Life and Essence across the Universe, and that one day, we would become trees like her, and birth many worlds too, Realms.”
“B-But then…” Your next read is at My Virtual Library Empire
“Indeed, tragedy struck, the great war between the Titans, Dragons, Ancient Gods, Pandemonium and Chaos happened, the world of the past was destroyed, the Realms, my siblings and I, were unable to blossom into the Cosmic Trees we were destined to become one day, and we were unable to drift away into the Cosmos once we fully matured. Our bodies were crushed, and we would have soon died, if it wasn’t for mother’s sacrifice, as she kept us alive, as a single whole. This world and its continents was made by our combined bodies, and now we live, we created a new world, one bigger than anything ever before, the Yggdrasil you know.”
“T-This is amazing… all of history… I-I don’t even know what to say…! B-But why? why are you telling me all of this, master Muspelheim?”
“Master? You may call me mother. Every living being born in my land is my child. And why do I tell you such things? Because you needed the knowledge to understand what is happening right now, you, who I’ve branded as my Druid, can channel my Primordial Realm Soul to unleash your Geomancy Magic, as long as you’re within my land. You’re the only one I could directly communicate with.”
“I-I see…”
“Tell your friends what I’ve told you, it is time for the truth to be revealed. Mother grows weaker every day, this world, which she created to desperately keep her children alive, is on the verge of destruction…”
“E-Eh?!”
“But there’s hope. The Venerables that are being born now, and those willing to hold this world together… If they could cooperate, the world might be saved. But with so shadows lurking in every corner, and with Pandemonium, Chaos, and the Evil Oberon planning this world’s destruction, that will prove to be a difficult task.”
“I-I… I will tell them! I will do my best, Mother Muspelheim! Ah! Um, do you have any relationship with the Primordial God of Fire and Space Logi, or the Primordial Fire Dragon Mother Muspel?”
“Yes, both of them are also my Druids… Muspel, however, is long gone… And Logi, albeit revived, is weak. He is also a child of mother, making him my younger brother. We worked together to maintain the Realms in the past. Perhaps his revival has also fueled me with his power, allowing me to regain my consciousness.”
“Your Druids! W-Wow… So I’m the third then?! T-This is such an honor- I-I don’t even know what else to say…!”
“Hahah, don’t panic, my little Amehia. You hold within you great potential. Perhaps you considered yourself not so talented and special, but your connection with the Spirits and Nature was good enough, and I only choose those with the purest and sincerest of hearts… Nobody else than you in this entire continent was worthy.”
“T-Thank you so much…! A-Ah, right! But I need to ask you who is that monster! And what will happen to the continent with all the cracks?!”
“That monster? He is no monster, dear. Rest at ease, that being is another of my children. He is a Primordial Beast, the King of all Divine Beasts of Muspelheim, Ignisefer. A powerful being that protected my Realm and even now, remains alive. He was raised by the Fire Dragons and the Fire Titans as their own, and had continued growing every year, even now, he continues to develop. He’s a special child, someone that, like me, has finally woken up after the Evil Venerable was slain by the last Fire Dragon.”
“S-So he’s an ally!”
“Indeed, but he is rough around the edges… He’ll only be nice my Druids, you. You’re the only one that can communicate with him. Amehia, your task is to speak to him and form a Familiar Bond. Once that’s done, Ignisefer will learn about the current situation in more detail and cooperate with the rest of your friends fully.”
“S-Such a task… I have to do it myself?!”
“I know it’s scary, and I know all of this is too sudden… But you’re one of my last hopes, dear… If Chaos cannot be stopped now, I am afraid this continent… and I, will perish.”
“A-Ah…!”
Amehia’s eyes widened, realizing there was no longer any point in hesitating or backing down.
Hesitation would only mean the entire continent’s doom!
“O-Okay… I… I get it…! I’ll do it! Leave it to me, Mother Muspelheim!”
“I trust your resolve, my last Druid.”
FLAAASH!
