"I think we're about get there! The Colorful Reefs! Or as some others call them, the Iridescent Coral Reefs." Jeremias said.
To the distance, I could see it, finally… and I could also understand why they wanted me to see this so badly.
Indeed, it was beautiful.
Giant pillars made of colorful corals emerging from the depths of the ocean, made of red, yellow, blue, green, pink, purple, and orange corals.
These were the coral reefs, which were so big that they even emerged from the ocean, rising like iridescent towers of wonder.
I'm definitely bringing my kids here later on…
"Wooow! Waow!" Triton was very excited by seeing them, flapping his cute little butterfly wings above his mother's head. "Mama! See that?! Shoooo big!"
"I-I see…" Amphitrite nodded, surprised by the beautiful view as well. "Indeed, this is a great place… Jeremias, to think you knew of this place for a while and you never told us…"
"Sorry, was always busy with other stuff for a while," Jeremias laughed it off. "But we're here, Amphitrite! Don't you think it's amazing?"
"Indeed…" Amphitrite smiled, as she grabbed her son with her arms so he wouldn't fly away and cause any more trouble. "This is indeed a beautiful place… Just how many of those coral towers are there?"
"There's like a dozen of them," I said, counting them all. "They seem to have a lot of unique creatures living inside, shall we get closer, Jeremias?"
"O-Of course!" He nodded.
As our ship started getting closer to the corals, Hydros smiled while holding my hand.
The cold wind was fresh and nice and being with her and our daughter and grandson was even better.
This was really a relaxing experience… And one filled with wonder as well, something I secretly always wished to live.
A happy, relaxed life… Away from everything else, from all dangers and other things.
Yeah, the more I see this life, the more I live it, and the more I see how others enjoy it, the more I realize how important it is for me to continue fighting as well.
To protect this beautiful world born from my own soul and divine power, to protect its billions of inhabitants, and all of their stories and lives.
What I am living right now is but a glimpse of this world, there must be so many other people living lives here, each one with their own aspirations, dreams, and adventures.
Their own challenges, their own happiness, and even their own suffering…
But in the end, they're all the lives that exist within my Divine Realm, although I will not interfere, it doesn't mean I won't go out of my way to protect the land they live on, and love.
"Isn't this nice, Kireina?" Hydros smiled adorably.
"Yeah, it's beautiful…" I nodded, kissing Hydros lips lovingly, and hugging her. "I love you Hydros, thank you for showing me such a wonderful world, and life."
"E-Eh? Ah… I love you as well…" she smiled happily. "Let's continue living here together, okay?"
"Of course! I'm enjoying this so much, I guess it's no longer just a vacation, but a new life altogether," I giggled.
"Yeah, that's right!" she nodded energetically. "I'm so happy!"
As she hugged me with her big, muscular arms without letting me go, Jeremias' ship got closer to the coral towers, until we finally could see them up close.
And well, damn, they were massive.
Each one was perhaps over 400 meters tall, and probably 100 meters WIDE.
And they had countless little holes and caves inside, where we saw all kinds of critters crawl in and out.
Flying fish with bright, colorful wings ate the seaweed hanging from the coral towers. Large crabs with over eight pincers crawled through them, hunting these fish.
Fishmen-like creatures climbed these towers and harvested seaweed or hunted down any critter they saw. Rainbow-colored shrimp colonies swarmed these towers and moved from one place to another inside a large blue bubble.
These were also fish as big as this ship, moving from one place to another while eating the seaweed or even the coral growths which resembled crystals, they floated using water bubbles, magic.
A lot of these were divine beasts, so using magic naturally in such ways came as easy as breathing water for these critters.
There were countless other beings, of all shapes and sizes, crab-armed sharks the size of little dogs climbed the towers while chomping down anything they found, and there were also all matter of tentacled fellows, octopus and squids seeking anything they could find.
"Waaaoow…" Triton looked around in surprise. "So bright!"
"It is indeed very bright," nodded his mother. "So many animals I haven't seen before as well… Thank you for bringing us along, dear."
"Ah, don't worry about it," Jeremias smiled. "Anyway, we did come here to pick some of that seaweed. See how so many animals gather to eat it? It's really tasty because it absorbs the coral nutrients as it grows."
"But how are you planning on taking some? It grows on higher altitudes…" said Amphitrite.
"Well I planned to climb the damn towers, it's not like I'll die or something," Jeremias shrugged.
"Hm, well, that sounds rather reckless, let's try a better option," I said. "Jeremias, can't you fly or float?"
"I can't…" Jeremias said.
Usually levitation is an easy ability most gods learn right away… but I guess the people of this divine realm, even when born as gods, must be mostly unaware of all their divine abilities, huh?
Make sense, as Triton had so much potential, but the boy wouldn't have known half of it if I hadn't taught him a thing or two beforehand.
"Alright, I got an idea," I said. "Let's levitate to that place. Every god knows how to levitate, you should simply encompass your body with your divine aura and leap away, you'll float. Easy."
"…And how do I do that, mother-in-law?" he wondered, rubbing his chin.
Eh?! He doesn't even know how to manipulate his Divine Aura?
I did see him doing that with the ship though…
