Chapter 873: Warning Farash
Farash smiled before turning around and clearing her head with a shake. “Clear mind now, target at sight.”
However, it took her two steps before her eyes widened. A dreadful aura was seeping out of the door she was going to enter. Her goosebumps were on high alert as if there was an invitation to death. She gulped. ( What the, what is it? What’s going on? ).
“Farash? What are you doing here?” said Sakya from behind. She furrowed her brows seeing Farash didn’t respond to her call. “Hey, are you alright?”
Farash shook her head, “No, I’m not alright.”
“Huh?” Sakya was baffled by her answer, “Then you should rest, why are you even here?”
Farash smirked before she turned and crossed her arms as she looked at the leader of the Flame Guild. “That question can go bothways, why are you here, Sakya? I’m sure that you still have a house.”
“I’m going to Lyon of course, they didn’t give me a definitive answer yet.”
“You mean they haven’t said yes, yet?” Farash smirked. “I always jealous of that tenacity of yours.”
“Your welcome,” Sakya smiled before she furrowed her brows, “You’re going to visit him too, are you?”
“Is it that obvious I wonder,” Farash chuckled, “I have my own reasons.”
Sakya sighed, “You can do whatever you like, it’s your life after all, even if you want to throw it all away, why would I stop you?”
“That’s harsh. How you say that after all, we’ve been through?” Farash added with a blatant fake sob.
“Stop it, I’m not buying your act like I once did,” Sakya answered as she rolled her eyes.
“Heh, you’re no fun, you used to be gullible back in the day,” Farash answered.
“I’m not that little girl anymore, we have the same status now, and quite frankly, you’re my enemy for all that I concern,” said Sakya.
“That hurt, despite your fiery temper your words are colder than mine,” Farash smiled before she turned. “It’s not like you don’t know what I’m about to do anyway.” Farash walked away.
“You think you can tame him?” Sakya asked before turning around and looking at Farash having to stop her pace.
“He is quite dangerous,” Farash answered with a smile, “I’m certain that he is a Grand Adventurer, his name might be unknown but I’ve never seen anyone that foolish to be absurdly powerful.”
“Well, you do seem like a femme fatale.”
Sakya had a torrenting frost creeping up from the base of her spine toward her nape as her eyes widened and her pupils trembled. The voice was pleasant to the ears but it was familiar to her. Her feet stayed close to each other before she saw the auburn-haired woman walks passed her.
“Ah, sister Cecile, how are you?” Farash smiled as she asked.
“Well, what do you think?” Cecile raised her brows with a smile.
“I-I don’t know, that’s why I ask you,” Farash smiled.
“Hmm, let’s see, I hear that you are looking for my husband?” asked Cecile with a smile.
“Oh my, I won’t go that far,” Farash chuckled. “After all, I’m going the opposite way, am I not?”
“You do,” Cecile nodded slightly. “I wonder what make you change your mind.”
“Excuse me?”
“Nothing,” Cecile smiled. “Do you want to sleep with my husband?”
Sakya opened her eyes wide in disbelief, failing to notice that Farash was taken off guard.
“W-What? What are you saying? He is your husband, is he not?” Farash smiled wryly. “Why would I want to sleep with him?”
“I don’t know, a femme fatale such as yourself won’t reveal your goal,” Cecile smiled. “Though, you will have tremendously fierce competition.”
“Competition,” Farash chuckled under her wrist. “What do you ever mean by that, I wonder.”
“Whatever that crossed your mind,” Cecile answered.
“You’re so composed about this, that’s frightening, even Sakya couldn’t breathe well,” Farash smiled.
“Kh?!” Sakya wanted to deny but her body refused to stay calm despite trying. The woman that stood in front of her was in a different league. From the head to the toe, she was unmatched.
“Is that so? Well, I’ve been famous for being the cool-headed one out of the three.”
( Three?! ) Sakya raised her brows.
“Three?” Farash furrowed her brows, “He has another?”
“Officially, yes,” Cecile smiled, “Though I hope that the number won’t grow anymore, seeing how things have been going, I think I’m already past the point of even being too late.”
“I see,” Farashs smiled as if she was amused by the revelation. “That means I can still be the fourth?”
“Looks like you opened up your cover,” Cecile smiled. “That’s a shame, I would love to play words with you a little bit more.”
“Oh?” Farash raised her brows, “You don’t feel jealousy coursing through your veins?”
“I do, but having a verbal fight is pretty rare for me,” Cecile smiled. “A shame, I’m quite good at it, thanks to certain someone.”
“I have to apologize then,” Farash smiled. “I’m not a good speaker nor a listener, I bet I would bore you faster than how Sir Lyon defeated those three.”
“Sir Lyon?” Cecile raised one of her brows, “That’s fast, since when did you call him sir?”
“I think it has a certain commanding tone to it, don’t you think?” answered Farash.
Cecile shrugged, “I don’t know, what do you think?”
Farash smiled and loosened her shoulders. She looked at Cecile with a different light in her eyes, “You know, all men that I want, grovel before me.”
“He heard it a million times,” said Cecile.
“Oh?” Farash raised one of her brows.
“You’re not going to be the first time,” Cecile smiled. “You think he is the kind of man that won’t kill a woman just because she is the most beautiful fairy?”
“I love challenges,” said Farash.
“Farash don’t!” said Sakya.
Farash looked at Sakya before darting her glance back toward Cecile. “Since we are going to be sisters, we shouldn’t fight, even if it’s verbal.”
“You’re pretty confident in getting his heart,” said Cecile.
“Hearts are fickle,” said Farash. “They craved for something lustful, something that gave them euphoria. All I need is to give him a little bit of taste, then he will come to me like a butterfly to a flower.”
“Not bad,” Cecile smiled. “Looks like you’re really skilled in your department.”
“Oh, you jest,” Farash chuckled under her wrist. “Sister, can you tell me about the other one, since we are going to be related soon.”
“That’s abundant of confidence that you got there,” Cecile smiled. “The name is Maria.”
“Oh, what a noble name,” Farash clasped her hands, “She must be a saint.”
“Spot on,” Cecile nodded. “She is a kind of a saint, a benevolent woman through and through.”
“Oh how nice, then I don’t need to worry about her,” Farash smiled.
“Hm? Are you sure?”
“A saint is nothing in my eyes, they always try to pick the right path, even though there is no right path,” Farash clicked her tongue.
“I see,” Cecile smiled and nodded. “True, being virtuous is not choosing the right path, but making it right.”
“See, you get it, sister, I’m afraid that we would get along really well,” Farash chuckled.
“I’m afraid that it wouldn’t happen,” Cecile smiled.
“Oh my, you’re not going to stand in my way, are you?” Farash smiled.
“Me? I welcome you, but one woman won’t,” Cecile smiled.
“One woman? Maria?” Farash tilted her head.
Cecile snorted a smile before she shook her head. “Maria is a benevolent woman, all kind and sweet, me, I’m cool-headed one, let’s see, that leaves one.”
“Ah, her,” Farash smiled. “The Fang’s sister, I really wonder what she looked like.”
“She looks the same as her, even the proportion of her body is the same, you can’t differentiate between the two,” Cecile shook her head. “Well, until she showed her skill.”
“Oh? Is she better than Zelena?” Farash asked before Sakya gulped as she prepared for the answer.
“Way above,” Cecile smiled.
“Heh, is that so, then I will need to be careful then,” said Farash before she yawned. “It’s getting late, sister Cecile, maybe we continue this little talk tomorrow? Preferably with his presence.”
Cecile smiled, “Heh, I must warn you though, forget about your intention.”
“Didn’t I tell you that I love challenges?” Farash smiled before she jumped out a step forward in a panic. She immediately turned before seeing Kesya raising her index finger. “You… what do you want?”
“You can’t even dodge her touch fast enough,” Cecile turned and smirked. “Your head will be lobbed if you encounter her. Unlike me and Maria, she is merciless, an insane woman you might say.”
“?!” Farash raised her brows as Kesya went past her with her hands behind her head.
“Please don’t take this personally, I only warn you because you’re the leader of the Water Guild, those below you still need you, it would be a shame if they found their leader’s head missing, furthermore over an affair.”
Cecile walked away with Kesya following behind her, leaving the two leaders of two mighty guilds stunned.
