Chapter 779: I’ll Kill You…
“Ngh!” the chieftain felt an immense pressure coming out from the figure, half of his size. His eyes twitched before he covered his brows with his hand. “What the hell are you,” he muttered before his pupils shrunk at the sight of three humongous beasts glaring at him.
(True Dragon! Devil Ape! and…) the chieftain gulped at the sight of the last beast. (Impossible, heralded as the bearer of the apocalypse, Seven-Horned Calamity Goat!).
(Three mythical beasts are inside that youth?!) Galaeron shouted inwardly before one of his feet took a step back out of his instinct. He gulped before his shaking hand reached out for his wooden glass.
The jitter made his two generals furrow their brows, but the pounding in their hearts prevent them to say a word to the king.
“That doesn’t seem to be an illusion!” muttered Nora as he took one step back with his eyes trembling. (That man, what is he!?) said Nora inwardly before he made a harsh swallow.
“This is the power of Lyon Torga?” gulped Nora’s fellow before he looked at the corpse of their fellow member, Harr. It was no wonder how easily Lyon’s barefoot crushed his skull.
“You guys should be looking out for yourself rather than standing in awe!” Kesya grinned before she grabbed two orcs’ heads, then crushed them together. The skull snapped open in an instant before Kesya landed on both of her feet. She let out a cold breath before smirking at them.
“Hmm…” Assid pulled his fingers out of an orc’s throat. “This is just a cleaning service.”
“Kh! Don’t flatter!” shouted the chieftain before Lyon took one step forward and then leaped forward.
The black mist permeating out of Lyon’s sword trailed against the ground before the giant ax Ragnar hacked down his advancement once he was in the range. (I got him! What?!). The chief could feel no weight as his blade penetrated through.
“Afterimage!?” the ax split the ground open with a boom before Lyon revealed himself just by the chieftain’s side. The chieftain immediately leered over before a flash of sword stroke across his shrinking right pupil.
“Gah!” he swung his ax over before Lyon casually distanced himself with a back leap.
“Kh!” The chieftain lost half of his sight just like that. Blood trailed down his right cheek with a vertical open wound to Connak’s and Agist’s surprise.
Meanwhile, Galaeron shook his head, “He is untouchable now, no matter what black magic has he done to achieve this level, he is untouchable.”
“So casually,” Nora gulped.
“Torga!!!” shouted the mighty orc before he hacked his ax down with air splitting open in naked eyes. The ground shook before the orc’s killing intent glared at Lyon. The thousand-plus battle experience was focused on one point and then heavily crashed down against Lyon’s soul.
“Die!” the chieftain moved like the wind despite his figure before leaping up. He held his ax with both hands before hacking it down against Lyon. However, Lyon casually dodged it with a step to the side.
“It’s not over!” the chief didn’t stop and hacked to the side with one hand. Lyon took a step back once more, but the chief also immediately followed with a step. Despite his huge figure and the fact that half of his sight was null, the chieftain didn’t randomly hack toward his direction. It was as if he was not blinded on his right side.
Lyon dodged when he needed to dodge and then parry when the situation called him to do so. The swing contained a momentum that could split an entire forest but Lyon calmly dodge the blade as narrow as possible. An expert would have noticed how his goosebumps barely touched the blade as he kept on backtracking.
“Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!” the chieftain hacked with a roar before he stomped heavily forward and made Lyon lose his balance. “Got you now! Eat this!” he swung his ax horizontally.
“Kh!” Lyon immediately twisted his sword and reverse gripped it before the blade made a gruesome contact against the giant ax.
Lyon was propelled from the force before crashing against the nearby tree.
“Ha, ha, ha,” The mighty orc slowly caught up his breath before smirking. (That damn cultivator, he managed to keep up with me for a full minute!) “But it’s over now, you have failed, Torga.”
Lyon got up from the ground with dirt and dust on his clothes. A single leaf was resting on his head. “You think I would let you go after you severed her forearm?!”
A shriek of killing intent permeated out from Lyon’s pupils before the entire nature was petrified.
“What?!” The mighty orc fell down with one knee. The cold killing intent was nothing that he ever felt before. He saw a sea of bones piling up to a mountain and erecting a throne on where Lyon was standing. (What the… illusion??) thought the orc before he shook his head. (No, this is killing intent!).
(How many people have you killed that you even render me to a knee?!) glared the orc before he forced himself to stand up. “Haaa!!” he let out a war cry to surround his soul from being choked.
“It’s a shame Lyon, were you born an orc, I can see ourselves being brothers!” said the chieftain before he took his right eye out of his socket and crushed it with his bare hand. His right eyelid was forever shut and immediately received gasps from his fellow tribesmen.
“Don’t be ridiculous, I would still kill you even if I were an orc,” said Lyon before he put Scarlet away. “You have severed the hand of the person that saved my life twice! You shall suffer!” Lyon glared.
The orc furrowed his brows. “You can’t defeat me, Lyon! You’re a mana user cultivator, your magic won’t work, and your art won’t work! I’m an orc and you’re a human! You have speed but I still have the strength!”
“Defeat you?” Lyon smirked. “I’ll kill you.”
“Hahaha!” the orc laughed before he leaped forward. “If you want to avenge your woman that much! Then come at me!”
“Hanjiseh!” shouted Lyon before he quickly draw out the javelin and threw it against the hovering orc.
“That weak spear won’t do a thing!” the chieftain laughed before slapping away the incoming javelin with his ax. “Haaa!”
“Maybe my art won’t work on you, but you think that alone assures your victory over mine?” Lyon gritted his teeth before he leaped forward with Scarlet in his hand.
The blades connected before the two of them were propelled in each opposite direction.
“It’s not over!” shouted the orc the moment he landed before he saw a dark blade running across his face. Blood splurt against Lyon’s face before he felt his stomach sink inward. The chieftain retaliated with a fist and made a fair distance against him.
“Ptui!” Lyon spat out with a hint of blood stained the ground.
Wound streaked across the chieftain’s face. “You think that blade is sharp enough to break my skull?!” the orcs grinned. “However, I enjoy this! Rare has it been for someone stand toe to toe with me, never were there a human that could test my entire might!”
“That’s where he is wrong,” Yoji shook his head.
“Huh, what do you mean?” asked Jugen. “By the way are you not going to help him?!”
“I was tasked with protecting you both, that is what I shall do. We always prepare for the worst, besides, don’t you see those cloaked people over there keep leering at us, heh, an opportunist at sight.”
Jugen darted to the two people that were left out on the battlefield. “Huh?” Jugen raised his brows. “Wait a minute, where are their leader?”
“General Graham is handling that dark elf alone, poor thing,” said Yoji shaking his head before he darted his glance back at the emperor. “Were it the peak him, the orc wouldn’t even have words coming out of his mouth the moment we landed here.”
Jugen gulped, “But what he would do now.”
“The emperor got a good grasp of his opponent’s style, notice how mana coiled around his body.”
“Wait, didn’t he say that art and magic won’t work on him? What is big brother doing?!”
“That’s right, magic and art won’t work, but that doesn’t mean a blessing wouldn’t,” Yoji smirked. “After all, you don’t have to use art to utilize a blessing, and him being a peak True God cultivator…”
“Hm!” Lyon furrowed his brows before his back flashed three names.
“He can be in that form for a long time, just enough to enhance his physical prowess significantly to handle a mere orc,” Yoji smirked.
“That won—!!” The chieftain suddenly looked down only to see a fist aiming at his jaw. The immediate contact challenged the integrity of his bones as three roars of mythical beings immediately followed before the huge body leaped out from the ground flying.
The battlefield came to an immediate halt after a big thud.
