Chapter 1995: Sparring With Kelan

Chapter 1995: Sparring With Kelan

“By the way, who’s that pretty lady? Wait! Let me guess—she’s another lover—”

“No, she’s a friend. I brought her here from my world,” Yuan hastily interrupted when he sensed Liya’s cold glare from behind.

“What? She’s from the forgotten world?” Kelan looked at Liya with interest. “Why’d you bring her to the Nine Heavens?”

“It’s a bit complicated, and it wasn’t my decision.”

“Is that so?”

Some time later, they arrived at the heart of the sect, a domain reserved only for Core Disciples and Sect Elders.

Kelan continued a little further until they reached a restricted area accessible only to the Sect Leader, meaning only he could enter. However, when they arrived, Yuan could see several figures already waiting for their arrival.

“I notified them on our way here,” Kelan said as he descended to the ground.

“Yuan! Manager!”

Chu Liuxiang and the others greeted them with bright expressions.

“Hey, everyone—”

Yuan tried to greet back, but he was interrupted when Chu Liuxiang pounced at him, giving him a tight embrace.

“I’ve missed you!”

“I missed you, too.”

Chu Liuxiang didn’t hog Yuan all to herself and released him a few seconds later so Meixiu could do the same.

“Yuan.” Meixiu wasted no time and entered his embrace.

“Sorry, I couldn’t see any of you when I returned to Earth,” Yuan said to the others a few moments later. “I had to rush back as soon as possible.”

“We figured that was the case,” Wang Ming said.

“How long has it been since then? Five years?”

“Around that, I guess. I haven’t kept track.” Yuan admitted.

“I doubt any of us kept track, either. We’re always so busy.”

Yuan looked at their cultivation and smiled, “I see you’ve all reached the Divine Realm. Congratulations.”

In just a few years, everyone increased their cultivation to Divine King, with Li Jinxi even reaching Divine Ancestor.

“What cultivation have you reached? I cannot sense it.” Shi Lang asked.

“Ninth level Immortal Ascension,” he calmly replied.

“So you’re already half a step into becoming an Immortal?!”

“At this rate, you’ll be a True Immortal by the next time we see you,” Wang Bingbing remarked.

“Let’s chat inside,” Kelan said as he opened the doors to his pavilion.

Once everyone was seated inside, Yuan recalled his experience over the last several years, from meeting the Holy Dragon Clan to visiting the Azure Dragon Clan.

“To think you’d met with not one, two, but three of the Ten Royal Dragon Clans in such a short time. You know most people go their entire lives without even meeting one of them, right?” Kelan remarked.

“I guess my fate is quite strong when it comes to dragons,” he shrugged.

“What are your plans now?” Chu Liuixang asked.

Yuan didn’t immediately respond.

After some pondering, he spoke, “There are so many things to do that I don’t know where to begin. Since it’s been a while, I’m thinking about staying here to spend some time with the rest of you while I figure out my next plan.”

“That sounds like a great plan!” Chu Liuxiang immediately said.

“You don’t mind, right?” Yuan looked at Kelan.

“I don’t mind… as long as you don’t cause any trouble.”

Yuan smiled and said, “The others won’t even know I’m here.”

Wang Xiuying suddenly asked, “Hey, where’s Xi Meili? I thought she was with you.”

“Oh, we had to split temporarily. She’ll come here soon.”

Some time later, after finishing their conversation, Yuan and the others followed Kelan to a nearby building so they could finally spar.

At a glance, the building looked unremarkable, barely larger than a standard warehouse. Yet, the moment they stepped inside, the world around them shifted, and they found themselves in a boundless white space that seemed to stretch into eternity.

“We can fight to our heart’s content on here without needing to worry about damages,” Kelan said.

“Do you need some rest before we start?”

“No, I can spar right now.”

“Then to keep things fair, I’ll suppress my cultivation to match yours,” Kelan continued.

Yuan offered no response, simply nodding in silence.

Kelan blinked in mild surprise before chuckling. “Huh. I was certain you’d say something like, ‘No need to hold back,’ or challenge me to go all out.”

Yuan smiled faintly.

“It’s easier to just show you.”

A gleam of excitement flashed across Kelan’s face. Without hesitation, he shrugged off his outer robes, revealing the training garb beneath—minimal and fitted, covering only his lower body.

“Whenever you’re ready,” he said.

“Then…”

Yuan gave a quick stretch of his arms before launching himself toward Kelan, not a trace of aura leaking from his body, relying solely on his physical strength.

“A clash of physiques first, huh? Just what I was hoping for!” Kelan laughed heartily as he charged to meet him.

“Wha—”

The moment their bodies collided, Kelan’s expression twisted in disbelief. It felt as though he had slammed into an immovable mountain, and before he could even process what had happened, his body was hurled through the air, like a man struck head-on by a truck.

Wang Ming and the others could hardly believe what they had just witnessed. After years of training alongside Kelan, they were well aware of how formidable his physique was. In fact, not once had they seen him overpowered in terms of raw strength—until now.

After the unexpected blow, Kelan quickly picked himself up. Yet rather than frustration, his face lit up with unrestrained excitement.

“I couldn’t really tell before because your body was mostly made of your soul,” he said, eyes gleaming. “But that physique… could it be the legendary Golden Immortal Physique?”

Yuan gave a simple nod.

“That’s right.”

“HAHAHA!” Kelan burst into laughter, his voice echoing through the boundless space.

“Unbelievable! I’m actually clashing with the legendary Golden Immortal Physique! This is a dream come true!”

Yuan then said calmly, “If you truly want to experience the Golden Immortal Physique… you’ll have to try a lot harder.”

Because his avatar had been composed mostly of his soul, it had barely allowed the Golden Immortal Physique to reveal even a fraction of its true power. But now that Yuan had reclaimed his physical body, the full might of the legendary physique could finally shine without restraint.
