Celestial Bloodline

Chapter 824: Let’s separate I

Meanwhile, on another planet, Jian finally woke up after a long, deep sleep. He stood with his hands folded behind his back as he recalled how a single freaking attack from Azazeal had caused him to faint.

"I want revenge."

He muttered, causing Alec and Asher, who were seated some distance behind him, to spit out the tea they were drinking.

Even James was startled.

They glanced at each other. From the moment the red-haired man woke up, he had become a changed individual. Unlike the laughing, mischievous youth he once was, he now stood like a solemn old man.

Alec wiped his lips and stared at him.

"Kyle already did. Your attack gave him the opportunity to strike Azazeal. You should have seen Azazeal's blank face when he was punched. Haha..."

He tried to lighten the mood, but Jian wasn't the least bit amused. He touched the bandage still wrapped around his head and turned back solemnly.

"That's not what revenge is. Revenge means I need to deliver an equally powerful blow to the person who harmed me!"

Asher cheered him on, causing the others to glare at him. So, he sealed his mouth. Alec stood up and approached Jian.

"Okay, you will. In the future."

He patted Jian's shoulder.

"Now, rest. You know your injuries aren't healed yet? Thanks to Kyle, some peace has returned to the universe. So, we don't have to go around fighting the dark side. They have lost many supreme ranks and a substantial amount of manpower in the past months. Now, it would be impossible for them to launch attacks on others. The only thing they can do currently is protect themselves and their planets."

James agreed with him. He signaled a waiter in the distance to clear away the empty dishes from their table. Since Jian was unconscious, they always needed to find a suitable place and reserve a room whenever they visited a new planet, so he could recover without disturbance.

There was silence in the air. Even the waiter was tense. But it was broken when Jian let out a grunt. His serious expression cracked, revealing his usual carefree demeanor. He pushed Alec's hand away with a sigh.

"No, I can't rest. Let's separate. Kyle is right. This way, we won't be able to grow stronger. We all need to find our own paths in the supreme rank-our own natural laws."

With that, he suddenly disappeared, leaving no opportunity for anyone to respond. Alec gazed at the empty space, stunned. Behind him, James spoke in a subdued voice.

"Umm... So, what about the plan to attack the dark side planets for revenge? Wasn't Jian the one who suggested we should do this once we finish saving other planets?"

Alec turned back. He ignored James and locked eyes with Asher for a moment. A silent conversation passed between them.

"He is right. Let's separate."

With that, he too vanished. He had a mission he had been neglecting for some time. He needed to locate and open the Second Realm, the place where Azazeal had trapped the ancestors of the universe. It was time for him to do something productive and focus on himself.

James glanced at Asher, a whirlwind of emotions swirling within him. He wanted to say something but didn't know whether to cry or laugh when the half-dragon vanished as well! And Asher did it without a word!

All he could do was sigh.

"What they have done for so many is already more than enough. I can only hope they don't find themselves in danger."

He stood up to go and gather his people and reach out to the seven elders. Together with many other individuals, they would launch an attack on the dark side planets.

With the dark side forces having dwindled in number, there was no need to search for a new battleground for war.

The planets inhabited by the dark side would become the next front, and every strong individual in the universe who had suffered would join the battle.

They would ensure that the dark side experienced a reckoning, facing double the anguish they had inflicted upon others.

At the same time, on the blue planet, Lara and Sinon, who had been working hard for the past months to establish several more powerful barriers around their home planet to ensure it stayed out of harm's way, exchanged glances upon receiving news from Alec that he would be unavailable for a while and that they were all separating.

The duo was initially confused, but as the weight of the situation settled in, their eyes widened in understanding. Sinon's eyes sparkled with determination.

"I understand now. Separation is it. The next time we meet, I will ensure that I am no ordinary supreme rank."

Lara watched as the winged demi-human vanished into the sky. She wanted to follow when Ohan appeared behind her. He sighed with his hands folded behind his back, and then a smile

Lit up his face.

"You two are leaving? Go, without fear. We will protect this planet..."

He paused for a second, gathering his thoughts. He had a lot to say, but he kept his words minimal.

"If you see Kyle, ask that kid to come back home one last time. I have a feeling I won't get to see him again. You both told me he has reached the Celestial rank, a rank above all; that's something I can't comprehend right now. But I want him to know that, as his father, I am proud of him."

Lara nodded and then left the planet. The barriers around the boundary rippled softly as she passed through. She gazed at the twinkling stars and distant planets.

"I suppose I will explore those lands filled with treasures and find a suitable place to meditate. I need to understand more about the natural laws to become stronger."

Her eyes glowed slightly in the dark as she vanished into the distance. For now, her destination was unknown, but one thing was clear: she would grow stronger.
