The young knights that were being trained by David confronted the terrifying three-headed demonic wizard, one of the survivors of yesterday’s catastrophe.

Through combining their dying bodies, not only were they able to survive, but their power increased tremendously.

Despite such a powerful opponent, the young knights couldn’t bring themselves to call for help, they knew how bad the current situation of their Kingdom was.

If they couldn’t prove themselves now and take care of this foe, could they even call themselves knights at all?

“Go, my Demonic specters!”

“Spread your flames everywhere!”

“Burn it all! Burn this damned nature once and for all!”

The wizard laughed, raising his three burly arms as their scepters activated. Demonic energy spread around like dark red fog, giving birth to demonic specters out of thin air.

These horrendous specters had the form and shape of various demonic beasts that attacked Luminous yesterday, it wasn’t their souls, although these young knights believed otherwise, being much more intimidated than they should have been.

“SHYAAAAH!”

Dozens of demonic specters rushed forward, swinging their huge claws at the young knights while releasing blazing shockwaves!

The knights stepped back, constantly evading the incoming attacks while unleashing their Auras.

These weren’t common or normal Auras, but Knight Auras!

They were born from the cultivation of their Physiques through the flow of both Ki and Mana, a combination of these two energies.

These Auras had different colors based on each Knight’s Elemental Affinity imprinted into their bodies.

However, they weren’t just Knights, no, these young’uns were more than just that.

They also had magic circles!

“Don’t underestimate us!”

Patricia stepped forward bravely, swinging her spear forward even in front of four specters at once!

“Patricia! Don’t be reckless!”

Joustin panicked, only to see Patricia’s aura explode.

Her magic circle and her physique combined their powers, her Aura became thrice as big.

“We are not the same as before!

Her aura spread out everywhere, covering the specters with petals.

“{Fluttering Advance}!”

As she moved forward, she thrusted her rapier like a spear, her aura encompassing her into a spiraling drill-like attack!

BOOOOM!

Several specters were hit at once, being sent flying away and exploding in midair, completely away from any harm.

“SHYAAAH!”

Five more of them surrounded her out of nowhere, and yet Patricia remained calm, furrowing her pink eyebrows, she held her rapier tightly.

“Come at me then!”

Her friends gazed in disbelief as they attacked her, only for her to jump in midair in the last moment, pink petals flew around her body, propelling her into the skies.

FLUOSH!

“{Fluttering Descent}!”

Suddenly, aside from petals, there were now many butterflies flying around her, the moment she descended, she moved at lightning speed, attacking several specters at the same time.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!

As she did, she quickly kicked the empty air and fluttered away, her aura resembling a pair of butterfly wings, surprising her friends.

As the specters exploded and died, she quickly attacked more and more, constantly destroying them!

Her friends were left speechless.

“S-Since when did she had such strength?!” Joustin asked in disbelief.

“Impressive! She truly has grown stronger…!” Heshmerie seemed hyped.

“We had grown stronger ourselves as well…” Emerette was amazed.

“It just that we haven’t tapped into this power… Yet.” Juliette said.

The twins looked at one another and nodded, rushing forward and confronting the specters one after another, the three-headed demonic wizard stayed behind watching in anger.

“You dare believe you can go against my Spectral Magic?!”

“You’re going to pay a great price for underestimating me!”

“{Demonic Spectral Fusion}!”

“ROOOAARRR!”

It resembled a horrendous chimera with many tentacles, arms, legs, wings, and heads, from bird-like crow heads to large lion and wolf heads, all monstrous and twisted, covered by red eyes.

It rushed forward, making the ground rumble, unlike the other specters, this monster was much stronger and also materialized than the rest.

RUMBLE!

The thing reached Patricia in no time, attacking her with a barrage of biting attacks! Patricia panicked, quickly stepping back while parrying the blows by attacking at the teeth with her rapier.

“{Fluttering Hollow}!”

Her attacks were precise and completely sharp, piercing holes through the monster’s jaws, making it welp in agony, but attack even more ferociously than before.

“SHYAAAAH!”

One of the snake-headed tails opened its jaws, releasing a poisonous purple gas at her! Joustin and Heshmerie panicked, quickly rushing to save her.

“Patricia!”

Joustin gathered wind magic into his hands sword and then released it with a single slash.

“{Gust Wave}!”

FLUOOOSH!

The wave of winds sent the poison back to the specter, which made it cough in annoyance, although it didn’t make it become poisoned.

“Joustin! You saved me, thank you!”

Patricia thanked him, she had become much more honest and open than before.

Back then in the Knight Academy, she was someone that always acted all high and mighty, looking down on others.

However, because of her personality, she wasn’t well liked, and people wouldn’t approach her as much, making her feel very lonely.

But since she was put into this team with these young knights, she had slowly opened up to them.

“We have to work together, Patricia! Don’t do things on your own!” Joustin said.

“Yeah!” Heshmerie nodded, swinging his sword and releasing a blazing slicing wave, hitting the chimera’s heads with it.

BOOOM!

“GRRRHHH?!”

The Chimera glared at them with fury, rushing towards the trio, Heshmerie stepped forward, with Patricia and Joustin behind them.

Meanwhile, the sisters Emerette and Juliette were fighting smaller specters behind them.

Their Auras were very unique, resembling water itself.

They were covered by their auras, becoming mostly immune to flames, which allowed them to enter the blazing inferno the specters spread and eliminate them.

“{Ocean Pike}!”

The two girls swung their spears forward with both hands, using the same technique in unison, they unleashed a powerful piercing and thrusting blow, destroying several specters at once while spreading water everywhere, turning off the flames.

SPLAAASH!
