Chapter 2061 - Violetglory’s Allegiance
“Yes!” It wasn’t a small matter. Sovereign Brightscorch, Sovereign Starfeather, and the primalwinger overlord flew their astralships back to their people.
“Remember your promises,” Wudi said.
Sovereign Brightscorch and Sovereign Starfeather exchanged a look, their gazes turning resolute.
“From today onward, the Violetcloud Imperium and all its related sects shall join the Tianming Dynasty, taking Tianming as our lord,” Sovereign Starfeather said.
“I as well! From today onward, I’m a subject of the Tianming Dynasty,” Sovereign Brightscorch echoed.
“For my emperor, I’ll commit my all to his tasks, only resting when I die!” the primalwinger overlord bowed. He’d already made his decision when Tianming had brought along the primalwingers.
Violetglory’s allegiance was actually very important to Tianming.
The three sovereigns took the opportunity to return and notify their people. It was a huge matter, becoming enemies with the mysterians. However, the fortune of the ancient star and Tianming’s shocking achievement of killing the Blood Abyss Wargod would leave the Violetglory citizens with no way out but to proceed without hesitation.
In truth, the ordinary people didn’t really grasp the concept of the mysterians. Their egos had been inflated when Tianming swept across the Astraldome, so they weren’t actually that scared inside.
Tianming was aware that some changes had happened with the Violetglory citizens because of the Blood Abyss Wargod’s death. His Violetglory Omnisentient Threads increased and he finally broke past the watershed one trillion mark.
In front of him, the flaming clouds receded and the Flameyellow Guard Formation turned transparent, making the two organ-shaped astralships even more eye-catching.
They had just entered the sun’s central region. Wudi was chasing one down in the Divine Sun Palace and gave Tianming the coordinates of the other ship.
“Why still make trouble when you know the Blood Abyss Wargod is dead?” Tianming began his chase.
The news was currently being broadcasted among the people. For them, it was like they had been in the middle of the battle themselves just now. They didn’t need anyone to tell them how amazing killing the Blood Abyss Wargod was!
“Long live the emperor!”
“Your Majesty, Tianming!”
The sun blazed, and the hearts of the people with it. Some even had the luck to see the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb engage the enemy astralship when it came near the Myriaddragon Mountains. Before their eyes, the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb had smashed apart the enemy astralship.
Tianming then rushed out and stopped the Liverfiend from escaping. The seventh-level sovereign had been like a little chick in front of Tianming, unable to resist for even a moment.
“What’re these? Voidheart Worms?” He found many eggs in the Liverfiend’s spatial ring. “So, this is why you all still wanted to descend after the Blood Abyss Wargod perished!” Fortunately, it had been discovered in time, as the Voidheart Worms were dangerous. They hadn’t had time to plant them yet. “But even if they did hatch, how could they escape my notice with my control over the Flameyellow Guard Formation?”
Liverfiend was dead and Wudi was holding another back. His power was continuously increasing, thanks to the Flameyellow Coffin. He didn’t lose in battle, holding out until Tianming arrived and slew the other seventh-level sovereign.
“Go and check if there’s any Voidheart Worm eggs around,” Tianming said.
“There’s still one more ship, but it’s outside your power boost region. What should we do?” Wudi asked.
“He won’t leave. I don’t need to do anything personally. As long as we can destroy his astralship, he can’t follow the sun. I’ll go and check on Ling’er first,” Tianming anxiously said.
“Alright! Go!”
The greatest return from this battle was Violetglory’s allegiance. However, Tianming couldn’t be calm as long as Feiling was still in danger. He passed through the flaming clouds and returned to the astralscape.
“Violetglory’s Omnisentient Threads are still increasing. Looks like the two sovereigns’ ideological education is pretty good. The upper limit of my believers should be two trillion now!” If eight hundred billion even allowed him to kill a ninth-level sovereign, what would two trillion do? Tianming was excited to find out.
However, as the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb approached Kunlan Lake, his mental state returned to anxiousness. “I’ve reached it!” Tianming sped out from the tomb.
Kunlan Lake was currently in a very chaotic state. Gray storms were everywhere. The light from the stars could only be seen in the corners, and even Perpetia City seemed to have been swallowed up by the Well of Reincarnation.
Tianming’s heart leaped out of its chest.
“Ling’er, did you see me win?” Tianming’s eyes were bloodshot and he grit his teeth as he made his way to the lake.
“What’re you doing?” Xiaoxiao asked.
“I’m going to her side. I want her to see that I'm waiting for her to come home at the closest place to her.” Tianming bit his lips as he entered the lake’s central region and was engulfed by mist. He was holding a pink crystal; it was his seventh Primordial Chaos Beast egg!
……
In the wilderness on the sun was a new city being built, with construction in full swing. Sovereign Brightscorch had just made his announcement and the people were still in an uproar. Some were excited, while some were confused.
“Imperial Brother! You mean to say our divineglory imperials are gone from now on?” On a mountain peak, Sovereign Brightscorch was standing beside another man. He was the Minister Supreme, Sovereign Brightscorch’s younger brother. In the past, he had spoken with Princess Shen Yu about recruiting Tianming. In terms of prestige, he was second only to Sovereign Brightscorch in the Divineglory Dynasty.
“Divineglory imperials? That doesn’t mean much. On this ancient star, following this son of heaven’s fate will lead to an even better future. That’s what will truly make our divineglory imperials mighty!” Sovereign Brightscorch said.
“Mighty? Imperial Brother, you’re too optimistic. You don’t understand how horrifying the mysterians are!” The Minister Supreme grit his teeth.
“What does it matter? Even the Blood Abyss Wargod died at Tianming’s hands!”
“Can the Blood Abyss Wargod compare to the Three Sovereigns Mysterium, or to over ten thousand nova source worlds? The mysterians’ true foundation is the Mysterium Cluster, not one single person. And it’s definitely not an ancient star that isn’t even a skypiercer-class world! It doesn’t matter if you want to sacrifice yourself by walking this path, but you’re gambling with the lives of all of Violetglory’s citizens. You’re all crazy!” The Minister Supreme shook his head.
“Strange, you should know the cause of all of this. Get lost and think through it yourself. I don’t have the time to convince you.” Sovereign Brightscorch’s tone turned cold.
The Minister Supreme snorted and angrily left. “You’ll bear whatever consequences there are for this!”
After moving tens of thousands of kilometers away, he opened his hand. There was an eye and mouth on the palm. He called out, “Da Huang.”
“What is it?” the mouth on his palm replied with an annoyed tone.
“No one knows your true identity apart from me, right?” the minister supreme asked.
“Yes?”
“I was thinking that if you could help the mysterians determine the sun’s position, you’d have a chance to return to Skyway Tristar. And I’d at least become a distinguished person over there!” the Minster Supreme said with gritted teeth.
“Woah, are you mad? You’re betraying your own people for riches?” Da Huang sinisterly said.
“It’s not for riches. It’s for—”
“For what?”
“You can consider it revenge!”
“Against Brightscorch?”
“All of them, especially Brightscorch. He couldn’t have become sovereign without me, yet he told me to get lost today!” The Minister Supreme had a gloomy expression as he thought of past matters.
“Interesting, interesting,” Da Huang laughed.
“How so?” the Minister Supreme asked.
“I already made my plans long ago. However, it’s rare for you to be of the same mind as me. This is what it means when they say that if brothers are united, they can do anything!” Da Huang said.
“Yes! We’ve been together for so many years. We’re true brothers!” the Minister Supreme said.
They both laughed together.
“These fools don’t understand a simple law of the universe: you can’t defeat the mysterians!” Da Huang said with certainty.
