Saleen’s face changed while he stood in the cabin on the first floor thinking. If it was not for his steel mental power that was built through the training of the badge, he would be doomed by wearing the mask. Only a sorcerer could touch it for a moment. Did Banchajanna really want to frame him?

If he died, what benefit did Banchajanna have? Due to the contract, if he died, Banchajanna would not be able to return to death dimension at all and would be imprisoned on the Myers Mainland. He would not even be able to level up. That was only considered as the mildest punishment. If Banchajanna intended to harm him, whatever he felt would take effect on Banchajanna’s soul flame as well.

The three Kings were a unit. If Banchajanna was hurt, the other two Kings would bear the same pain. The pain was irreversible and if he really died, the three of them would come to a bad end too. If they were to run into any danger, they would have nowhere to escape.

The function of the mask was genuine, Saleen held onto the mask tightly, not willing to let go.

Although the mask was dangerous, it was quite useful to his current self. As his magic chords were less than half at the moment. If he was in a short battle, his magic chords would finish before his mental power was emptied. In other words, he would not be in any trouble as long as he had enough power to take off the mask.

Then, Saleen went back to his room quietly. It was impossible for him to punish Banchajanna for that as his and Banchajanna’s level were vastly different. If he were to punish Banchajanna, he could not fight back. He could always loaf on his job during a battle in the future.

Unless he want to turn Banchajanna into a Death Puppet completely that was. Then, Banchajanna’s fighting power would drop by one level, which was not much use to him.

Saleen calmed himself down and tried not to think about the consequences of him being angry. He first took out two-hundred and forty pieces of magic nuclei, to put into each necklace space. Then, there were red phosphorous prawns’ flesh and a big amount of fish. In the necklace space, time did not go by slowly. The lightning dragons were growing tremendously fast and they required huge amounts of food intake.

To sustain the twenty-four lighting dragons, Saleen had to continue hunting at the border of the Oceanic Ice Block. Saleen had yet to have the ability to slow down time in the necklace. He would need to wait for his teacher to continue transforming the necklace.

If so, Banchajanna had to continue taking the risk. It was only possible to not starve the lightning dragons to death with all the dimension stones filled with prey.

As grade-8 magic beasts, lighting dragons would be fine with no food for a month, but the time in the necklace was passing by too quickly. The lightning dragon’s bodies were still small, but when they grew up, the amount of food required would be terrifying.

Saleen did not want the lightning dragons to have any trouble as that was the first time he proactively signed a soul bond. The twenty-four lightning dragons would listen to his commands. When they grew up, there would be hardly any chance for him to come across any trouble underwater. Even if it was a magic beast like the single-horned white whale that had a strong defence power, a lightning dragon would be able to shock it until it passed out.

When he was completely calmed, Saleen was not angry at Banchajanna anymore. The spirit of the dead always turned everything topsy-turvy, even Judikaka had no way to control him. If he did not bring Banchajanna along, Banchajanna might have already gotten into big trouble in his city.

The mask was really useful, but to fully utilize the mask, he had to level up his mental power to the level that he could wear the mask all year round without any danger.

Saleen took out his family badge and fondled it in his palm. The badge had turned into a dark green and the pattern on it had gotten more exquisite. The lightning sign in the middle of the badge was still clear as though it was carved into it with a knife. Without the badge, he might have died many times.

The power of a thunderbolt contained in the badge was impossible to attain, even to a lightning dragon.

Thunderbolt and lightning were different. Thunder could only be heard when there was a huge energy released. Thunder was not a sound, but the sound was produced when the energy was released. The derivation of the sound was terrifying. Thunder in nature was even scarier than Elemental Storm Magic when it released energy.

Lightning accompanied with peals of thunder, was unbearable by any kinds of creature. Even a grade-9 sorcerer would not dare to fly into a thunderstorm.

He had so many things in his hands that he had lost his direction. Saleen warned himself to lay everything that he had with him on the bed and rearrange them at the same time, to clear his mind.

The demon suit was the most practical equipment. Ever since Saleen wore the demon suit, he had no longer been troubled by the stability of elements in space. Even if he was in the magic array that other people had set up, Saleen could release his self formed magic with ease. The gloves and shoes in the demon suit had no damage in the past few battles. He reckoned the suit could be used as an armor, but it would not be able to defend against heavy weapons, such as Sika’s cudgel.

The demonic ring and demonic bangle were both good auxiliary equipment. The space in the ring was very stable and it would level up according to his level. It would also expand automatically. Although Saleen did not ask for much after he had dimension stones, the biggest significance to own the dimension stone was not for it to be a spatial equipment, but to make it into special equipment. The demonic bangle was inlaid with a dragonshard and it made the recovery of Saleen’s magic chords easier.

The other mages would always prepare magic medicine so that they could recover their fighting power quickly during crisis, but Saleen did not need those. That was the function of the demonic bangle.

Demonic magic book and a collection of element magic books accompanied with usage of the mask was equal to him having extra amount of magic chords.

Needless to say, the Goddess’s Necklace was a space that could hold creatures. It was certainly an item on the same par as a godly item and the speed of time passing in the necklace could nurture young magic beast quickly, which saved him a lot of time.

There were the two crystal rings. The white crystal ring was given to him by his teacher and the ring was quite useful as of then, as it could recover mental power quickly. Raphael’s crystal ring was special equipment, it could only be used when he released the scary magic; crystal finger.

There were many different gemstones left. If he was a mage that practiced alone, it would be sufficient, but he was leading a few thousand people and he was going to lead more people in the future. He wanted to build more cities. The number of gemstones in that light seemed to be pathetically meager.

The green calabash was not bright yellow back then. The pattern on it seemed a bit crude, but he could refine it when he got promoted. The water current in the calabash was useful too, at least it was not as dangerous as the mask. The water current did not require his magic chords and it functioned like the sword aura of a swordsmaster. Short distance isolated attacks were far more practical than crystal finger.

With Saleen’s current magic chords, he did not even dare to release crystal finger once. Crystal finger could only be used at desperate times. The water current in the calabash had weak points besides the speed of attack being slow. The problem with its speed could be resolved using calculation. No matter how slow the speed of the water current was, it would be much stronger than the normal arrow and bow.

There were two alive fully constructed puppets in the dimension stone and these puppets were at an advantage if they were fighting against swordsmen. The witcher spider puppet that he first got was hardly used recently. It was good for surprise attacks, but it was not as good for direct battle.

Saleen looked back and forth at all his items on hand and thought he did not have enough fighting power. In actual fact, as a grade-5 mage, his fighting power was terrifying. His enemies were too strong though and that made Saleen unable to focus on his practice. If he were to run into the black bishop again, within ten meter distance, Saleen was confident to bring him to death with one finger. After that his fighting power would be zero though.

His enemies had immense power and he could not fight against them one on one. The only solution was to nurture a few helpers. The mages from Sregl Island needed at least two years time before they could leave and Saleen had no other ways as the fire type element spirit was too precious. It was impossible for him to let his teacher give up.

He had the Three Kings then, but Saleen was not carefree. Besides Diyabannersa, the other two Kings were troublesome. Judikaka was full of petty consideration and Banchajanna worked with no logic. Diyabannersa actually gave Saleen a headache as well. When that bastard was angry, he did not care about the consequences. Saleen could only comfort him gently and he dared not give him commands that were too ridiculous. Banchajanna was easy to order around, even if he got angry sometimes, he would forget after a while.

Sika walked into Saleen’s room quietly and asked, “When are we going back?”

“Go back? I am planning to stay back for another two months. Don’t you know I brought twenty-four lightning dragon under control and in one year at most, the food needed is unbearable.”

“I did a reading earlier and our city seems to be in trouble.”

“Divination?” Saleen wanted to laugh. As a mage, he did not need to believe in divination, but his face grew awkward.

“You meant, the city base would have trouble?”

“I predicted that according to the result of my divination, but forget it if you don’t believe in it. I recently got the ability, I dare not assure if it was useful and the message was vague. There might be a mistake in my prediction.”

Saleen was in dilemma. He did not believe in divination, but he remembered what happened to Lex. The prophecy by the last astrologer of the Qin Empire turned out to be true and Saleen experienced some of it first hand. When Saleen saw The Great Chanake, Saleen turned his nose up at astrology, he thought “How is it possible for such a person to die?” The outcome shocked him, The Great Chanake did die and he was murdered.

If Sika was talking about something else, Saleen might not care at all, but what Sika was talking about was his city. It was the city that he built with his own hands. If something was wrong with the city, all Saleen’s effort would be utterly wasted. There was his property that he brought over from Sregl Island, two warships, and the city center that was taking shape. He also left an enormous amount of materials that he saved to a build magic tower in the secret room underneath the temple.
